In the event of the Committee cancelling the event, we would offer a rearranged event, deferral or refund tbc depending on the circumstances.

Will we be able to guarantee the safety of runners, marshals and the emergency services during the races?
-
Can the ambulance and paramedics travel safely around the course?
Keeping our environment clean
-
You must NOT leave any litter or human waste along the way. Please carry empty gels and other litter with you to the next water station where there are bins.

Littering the course may result in disqualification.
Your safety
-
Please make sure you train for the race you have entered and that you are fit and healthy enough to run the distance. This is your responsibility not the organisers.

-
Entrants should assist each other to ensure their own safety and that of others.
What happens if I can’t complete the distance?
-
The organisers are not responsible for illness or injury to entrants when travelling to or from the race or during the race. Entrants are encouraged to seek the assistance of race volunteers in the event of an accident or illness.
-
If you sustain an injury or can’t complete the course, try to make this decision at a water station where our volunteers will be able to call for assistance.
-
If you are not near a water stop, give your name and race number to another runner and ask them to go ahead and call for assistance at the next water stop.
-
Assistance available at water stops will include:
